It was a rainy day in Manila this afternoon, but it was a special day for Asus Philippines as it introduces a new colorful stylish-design lineup of netbooks and ultrabook during their Flare Up event at BIZU restaurant in Makati, Philippines. The Chinese Taipei tech giant Asus has launched three netbooks and one ultrabook that will may appeal to the young professionals and students. The notebooks includes: Eee PCX 101CH, Eee PC 1025C, Eee PC 1225B and the UX31 Zenbook Hot Pink.

Lets start with ASUS Zenbook UX31 in hot pink color variant. I can actually imagine Nicki Minaj is the perfect endorser of this Ultrabook. It only measures 3mm thin of screen panel and 9mm at the keyboard, sports a metal and hairline aluminum body- ahem Mac Air. The inner body of the UX31 is coated in semi-black with the prints on the Chiclet keys printed in pink. The pink Zenbook is powered by second-generation Intel Core i5 2557M 1.7GHz dual-core CPU topped with 4GB DDR3 RAM with Instant On and ASUS’ exclusive Super Hybrid Engine II which results to 25 percent more longer battery life. Asus Zenbook UX31 features a 13.3-inch LED display at 1600×900 pixels with 450 nits brightness, Turbo Boost to 2.7GHz, 128GB SATA 3.0 SSD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 1xUSB 2.0, 1xUSB 3.0, micro-HDMI, mini-VGA, SD Card reader, 0.3MP webcam for video chatting, and runs a Windows 7 Home Premium. The computing device equips with a superb audio performance through its SonicMaster technology co-developed with Bang & Olufsen. The ASUS Zenbook UX31 Hot Pink will be available by by next week at in the shelves at Php59,995 ($1100 US dollars).

Next up is the Eee PC X101CH, a netbook features the new dual-core Intel Atom Cedar-Trail N2600 processor clocked at 1.6GHz topped with 1GB DDR3 RAM. It also has 320 GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, 2xUSB 2.0, although it can play full HD 1080p videos it also equipped with HDMI, Card reader, 0.3MP webcam and Windows 7 Starter. This netbook has no exhaust fan, so it only means that it can keep itself cool. This Eee PC X101CH will be shipped in black or red color variant for the price of Php15,995 ($270) with Windows 7 Starter.

Third in the line is the Eee PC 1025C/Eee PC 1025CE packs with the latest 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Cedar Trail N2800 processing unit and 1GB DDR3 RAM at the top of the CPU, a 10.1″ LED Display with a resolution of 1024×60 pixels, 320 GB HDD, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 2xUSB 2.0, 1xUSB 3.0, HDMI, Card reader, 0.3MP webcam and Microsoft Windows 7 Starter. ASUS Eee PC 1025C also has the Instant On, larger battery that can last for up to 12 hours with regular use. Another feature is the USB Charge+ which allows you to charge your iPhone via the USB port even when the Eee PC 1025CE is turned off. The 1025C has a metallic side body and painted texture in Paris Pink and City Gray. You may shell out Php16,995 ($299.99) for this netbook.

And the last but not the least is the Eee PC 1225B a 12 incher netbook which packs AMD E-450 APU processor clocked at 1.65 GHz, ATI Radeon HD 6320 integrated graphics, 11.6-inch Anti-Glare LED Display, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD storage, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, 1xUSB 2.0, 2xUSB 3.0, an HDMI, Memory Card reader, a 0.3MP webcam and Windows 7 Home Basic edition. The 1215B will be sold in Matte Gray and Matte Red variants at the price of Php22,995 ($484.98).
