Philippines is the first country across the globe to receive the Windows Phone 7.5 Tango-powered Nokia Lumia 610. The said handset is the most affordable in the lineups of Nokia Lumia yet. It sports metallic edges that’s also matches the color of the handset, instead of having the polycarbonate unibody found on the Nokia Lumia 800 and 900. It is available in white, cyan, magenta and black color variants and is priced at P10,980 Philippine peso.
The Nokia Lumia 610 will also be heading to China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam in the following weeks and is expected to hit the other regions later this quarter. It is noteworthy that China’s version of Nokia Lumia 610 and the other siblings in Lumia family will not get Twitter and Facebook apps, due to the country’s internet censorship regulations the said social apps will be replaced by China’s local social applications instead.
